Some people are born cold blooded. Maybe not literally but definitely figuratively. If you're one of these people who can't wait for the first snow fall of the year. balkeQ: How do you like your Arcteryx Coat?

A: Sucks. I'm just joking. It's the best coat ever. It's warm, light weight, water proof, wind proof, comfortable. Amazing. A sentence full of adjectives. The only way to describe a arcteryx item. Best purchase I've ever made at Als.com- nothing else can compare.

Q: What type of jacket was it?

A: Fission SV- The warmest, fully water proof, all mountain insultaed jacket. I remember one day when we were snow mobiling and the wind knocked a few of our other family out of commision me and my father (who also has the same jacket) were able to continue on. We were like 'What its cold? Didn't notice'.

Q: How's the size and fit?

A: I have a large and with the articulated sleves and all that stuff its fits... Wonderfully. That's the only way I can describe it. They'll even say on the website that it's for in there words 'physically active people' so they might fit a little small. It form fits to me and I'm not a a huge guy. So you might need to buy a larger size.

Q: What else do you want to tell me about this?

A: I would absolutely recommend Arcteryx to anyone. You get what you pay for and then some! I don't know If I would buy any other type of jacket if arcteryx was avalible. It's so light and not very heavy at all. It's increadible that it can be so warm while being so light. It probably weighs a pound and a half if that. The jacket I purchased is black. And it has stayed that way. There hasn't been any fading despite the may phyiscal trails I've place it in. I've ran into branches, fallen, walked across a frozen campus and all the while the coat has reminded in pristine condition- as well have I nessled warmly inside of it. I've never treated it the whole time I've had it and maybe eventually I'll put something on there if I feel it needs it.

Q: Would you stick with black or would you get something else?

A: I'd try something else, I'd try the cardinal color maybe. Cardinal is red right? Yeah. I love black though It's a great color to stick with.
